and be remembered

Custom-made shorts can be easily manufactured according to your requirements in a very short time. Companies like INTER or SANDEE, manufacturing only muay thai shorts, are basically made of a few women sewing and stitching nylon and satin from their shop-house. Therefore, everything is very easy: there is no minimum order, everything can be personalized and it takes less than a week to complete an order of say fifty different (or identical) shorts.
Even for muay thai shorts, some kind of trends have appeared and disappeared over the years here in Bangkok. Long time ago there was nothing written on front. Then the words "muay thai" written in Thai became the standard and in the West such shorts were synonymous with Thai boxing and thus much sought-after by those few (at the time) practitioners. Later on, having your own name written in Thai on the front of your shorts was enough to be very cool in the ring. Then, together with the increasing popularity of muay thai worldwide, additional phrases and pictures were added, moving from normal patches to embroidered ones, richer in details, color and so much better looking. Sponsorships from energy drinks like Red Bull, M-150, Shark, etc entered the world of muaythai about seven years ago and shorts started to look like billboards. Fairtex introduced tiger, leopard and zebra patterns in the early 2002, followed suit by everybody else. This trend seems to have faded away now. Nowadays the main manufacturers offer a weird, colorful mix of everything, adding short slogans in Thai, signs in Japanese writing, cartoons and a few commercial ads as well, event on the back of the shorts. This kind of shorts sell well with foreign buyers. Also, new materials have appeared on the working desks of local sweatshops, with the intent of create the ultimate extravagant, personalized, unique pair of muaythai shorts. Fake velvet, shining mixed textiles used for Buddhist sacred paraphernalia, polyester-based mixed materials, even patches of lame have appeared on shorts. I wonder who actually buys these fantastic creations and dares to wear them in the ring. Definitely not local fighters, who usually wear very simple and toned-down nylon shorts.
Anyway, what matters is how YOU want to appear on the ring; therefore, let your creativity go wild and contact us.
