I get some further little discounts from the manufacturers, but nothing too special, really. What you have to remember is that their muay thai gear is the best in the world; and they know it. So it's expensive here too, especially if compared to Thailand's cost of living. I have a very good relationship with all manufacturers because: 1. I have been doing business with them for about 10 years and my record immaculate; 2. I'm fluent in Thai (this is a great advantage in any busines relationship in Thailand); This site aims to offer the best quality gear to all muaythai practitioners and fans worldwide and the chance to buy it directly from the factory, which means: 1. your order will be made especially for you, so personalizations are welcome; 2. you will by-pass importers, distributors retailers and even your own muay thai teacher, all adding their mark up to the original price, already not too cheap at the source. By the way, a brick-and-mortar shop like best-muaythai-equipment.com still doesn't exist in Thailand, as every manufacturer has its own retail point selling only its own stuff.
